We have loads of fresh and beautiful plant material in anticipation of spring to come! Beautiful hellebores, hydrangea, jasmine, ferns, shooting star hydrangea, rex begonias, and some truly fabulous orchids. We also have a great supply of our home grown spring pansies in flats, 4″ pots, our famous 10″ hanging baskets and huge 14″ moss lined hanging baskets!
Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The Living Earth! Saturday March 15th, Gregory Benjamin will be sampling his delicious preserves and his homemade Irish soda bread. Gregory will be with us from 11:00am-4:00pm, so there is plenty of time to get in and try this delicious pairing. The Living Earth, as usual, will be packed with loads of beautiful plants and flowers. So come get a taste of the Irish this weekend at The Living Earth!
Terrariums are perfect for these dreary winter months when we all need something green. Terrariums are low maintenance, the enclosed glass creates a rain forest effect where the garden waters itself with built up condensation. Your mini garden does want to be in a bright location, especially in winter when there is less sun due to the shorter days. The Living Earth has all sorts of shapes and sizes of glass, from hanging to desktop to large tabletop versions to display your garden year round. If you have your own glass, bring it into the shop and we are happy to show you the perfect plants for your piece or we can do it for you and create something beautiful! Stop by and see what terrarium plants we have that day, we get fresh material weekly!
